Carter’s 1st Birthday

We had had a small celebration of Carter’s birthday with the grandparents a few days before… but after Carter’s dedication the entire family was able to come over and share with us in celebrating one more time.

Julie’s idea to transform our basement into a jungle was (and still is) being blamed on me for wanting to have everyone over for a big party. She claims it is my fault for unleashing her creative thoughts. Needless to say, it took us nearly a week to complete this transformation… and we’re in no hurry to have to put it all back in place… although Daisy and Boone are not too thrilled with the inconvenience and mess.

 

Carter’s Dedication

Sunday, July 28th was Carter’s dedication at Pettisville Missionary Church with Pastor Kent. We asked Caleb and Chandler to stand up with us and pray for Carter. We were so thankful that everyone was able to come and share in this celebration and dedication of Carter.

Yeah, we know we are the worst bloggers in the world… only Jay and Megan may be worse than us… apparently Josh is way to busy to catch up with us on Facebook so we will try and catch you up on this past weeks festivities: Carter’s 1st Birthday and Dedication.

March Trip to the Outer Banks

I was able to tag along with my parents for a quick long weekend trip down to NC in March to meet up with my brother and his family.

 

26 Weeks Ultrasound

We were lucky to get another peek at this little guy at 26 weeks….I was measuring a little big, so they wanted to see his actual size and at 26 weeks they estimated he weighed 2lbs 6oz.  Oh and this little guy is Carter Matthew Rychener! (Matt likes to tell everyone that he had no say in the name….but we know he stretches the truth!)
