This past Sunday was my baby shower….here are some pics. I have another ultrasound coming up on Thursday, so hopefully we will be getting some new pics of Carter!
March Trip to the Outer Banks
I was able to tag along with my parents for a quick long weekend trip down to NC in March to meet up with my brother and his family.
26 Weeks Ultrasound
We were lucky to get another peek at this little guy at 26 weeks….I was measuring a little big, so they wanted to see his actual size and at 26 weeks they estimated he weighed 2lbs 6oz. Oh and this little guy is Carter Matthew Rychener! (Matt likes to tell everyone that he had no say in the name….but we know he stretches the truth!)
19 Weeks Ultrasound
This is the Ultrasound that we found out…. It’s a BOY! I’ll refrain from posting the pictures with the proof.
Boone’s First Halloween
Boone was so excited for his first Halloween… but less than excited about his new costume.
- Trick or Treat!
- Jack Skellington Pumpkin
- C’mon… Really?
- Make it stop Dad!
- Check out my hat!
- Where’s Daisy at?
- Here they come!
- My Masterpiece
- Cheese (or Candy)!
Hatteras
I got to spend a wonderful week on the OBX with my pappa….and my brother Jim came over for most of the week too! Hurricane Irene really did a number on the island a couple of weeks before our trip…the storm knocked out several sections of the only road into the Cape Hatteras National Seashore…lucky for us they finally opened the island back up to a limited number of visitors that were able to secure transportation thru the NC Ferry system and coming up from the south….good thing I stalked that website daily waiting for the announcement. Having to go the ferry route sure changed up the way we had to travel and it ended up adding an additional 7 hours of transit time, BUT it was worth it to spend a whole week with my dad in his favorite place doing his favorite thing. Fishin’ in Hatteras!! Love ya dad!
Ovo!
This past weekend we traveled to Chicago to see Cirque du Soleil Ovo under the big top in the parking lot of the United Center. It was by far the smallest setting that we had ever seen one of their shows in as there was seating for only 2,000 people. This may just be our favorite show so far… but there are still so many more to see!
